Lenka Falušiová (*1988, Vrbno pod Pradědem)
A visual artist, illustrator and graphic artist, Lenka Falušiová graduated from the Graphic Design Studio I (Prof. Jiří Lindovský, Prof. Dalibor Smutný) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2012-2017) and has long been devoted to working on paper. Her style is precise and consistent, yet the resulting effect is experimental and dynamic. She focuses on (forest and geological) structuring, and despite the convincing, almost illusory impression, her work is highly imaginative.
Falušiová is the recipient of the Graphic Artist of the Year award (student prize, 2015; intaglio printing, 2021), Mini Print in Cadaqués (2023), Alma Graphic Art in Oviedo (2023), and others. In 2025, she received the VIZIUM 2024 award in the Discovery of the Year category, presented by the Czech Academy of Visual Arts.
She regularly participates in international exhibitions and print biennials (2025 Edvard Munch at Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz, 2025 BIECTR 14 in Canada, 2024 Krakow Print Triennial, 2024 Taiwan Print Biennial, etc.). He exhibits independently (2025 Krystal Gallery in Havířov, 2024 Prague House in Brussels, 2024 Artium by KKCG in Prague, 2023 Caesar Gallery in Olomouc, 2022 Contemporary Czech Art Gallery in Šumperk, 2022 Graphic Cabinet in 8smička in Humpolec) and in group exhibitions (2025 Studio Twelve – accompanying salon to the exhibition Women, Masters, Artists at the Wallenstein Riding Hall in Prague, 2025 VIZIUM Awards at the Portheimka Gallery in Prague, 2024 Bohemian Art Space in Brussels, 2024 František Drtikol Gallery in Příbram, 2023 Trafo Gallery in Prague, 2021 DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague).
Her work is represented in the collections of the National Museum of Fine Arts R.O.C. Taiwan, National Library of Catalonia in Barcelona, Central Bohemian Gallery in Kutná Hora (GASK), Olomouc Museum of Art, Gočár Gallery in Pardubice, Felix Jenewein Gallery, Prague Municipal Library, Valea Art Switzerland, and others.
